This workshop will give students insight into performing a JHA, or job safety analysis, and learn how to apply your findings to reduce the dangers linked to different job duties. Learn about job hazard analysis and how to conduct them correctly. By following the structured JHA process, you'll be able to evaluate safety risks associated with different tasks and identify practical methods to prevent potential injuries.

  • Understand the concept of a Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and its significance in workplace safety. 
  • Differentiate between a Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and a Job Safety Analysis (JSA). 
  • Identify the individuals and workplaces that require a Job Hazard Analysis (JHA). 
  • Interpret relevant standards and regulations related to Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) implementation. 
  • Conduct daily inspections utilizing various inspection forms. 
  • Utilize questioning techniques to ensure thorough hazard identification. 
  • Identify and address additional workplace safety violations.
